Dr. Dennis J. Lee: Educator and Community Organizer
Hopkins House played an important role in the life of Dr. Lee – first as a coordinator of youth programs and later as a community organizer. Dr. Lee eventually traveled from Alaska to Washington, D.C. working as a psychiatric social worker. He also taught at University of the District of Columbia and the National Institutes of Health. He is remembered for developing “human workshops."
